Mulayam still defensive about friendship with Kalyan

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav found himself in a tight spot when asked about his recent friendship with former BJP leader Kalyan Singh.

“Kalyan Singh has said that he wanted to damage the BJP. He has also accepted and regretted the demolition of Babri masjid in his regime. His son is in SP and is actively campaigning with Akhilesh Yadav (Mulayam’s son),” Yadav replied to media persons at a joint press conference addressed by him,RJD president Lalu Prasad and LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan in Lucknow on Friday.

Yadav however side stepped when specifically asked about his ‘friendship’ with Kalyan and the former BJP leader’s role in campaigning with Lalu and Paswan. Lalu promtly came to the SP leader’s rescue saying,”It is true,they are friends”.
