Militant hideout busted,arms recovered in Poonch

A militant hideout was busted by the security forces and a cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from it in Poonch district,police said on Monday.

A joint column of Rashtriya Rifles and police busted the militant hideout in Pillan Wali area during a search operation on Sunday,they said.

The security forces also recovered a AK-47 rifle,a AK-56 rifle,732 AK rounds,258 pika rounds,a pika spare barrel,seven AK magazines,199 rounds of 9mm ammunition,six UBGL grenades among other things.
