AAP’s Punjab observer Sanjay Singh announced the appointment of 13 observers and coordinators at different levels who, he said, would be monitored by a Delhi-based head. Singh, significantly, quashed all speculation surrounding Sucha Singh Chottepur, who will remain as the state unit convener. Besides appointing zone heads, the party has also constituted and appointed heads for its various wings – youth, women, farmer, trade and transport, legal, intellectual, NRI, and ex-servicemen.

The students wing would also be announced later on in consultation with local heads.

Sanjay Singh said the zonal observers in Delhi would help the local heads with their experience of organisational structure that led to phenomenal victory in Delhi Assembly elections.
