The resolution — “Viksit Bharat-Modi ki Guarantee” — was moved by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and seconded by Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Amid the Punjab farmers’ protests, Singh, while proposing the resolution, said no government had done as much for farmers as the Modi dispensation. “Farmers are no less than family for the prime minister,” he said. Sitharaman spoke on the global gaze shifting towards the “thriving economy of India” amid recession elsewhere.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath saying the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya ended the wait of devotees for over five centuries and brought joy to “the followers of Sanatan Dharma”.
“In the last 10 years,” the resolution said, “the people of the nation saw Modi’s Guarantee reaching every home… Not only did the country’s economy break all records, become more secure and decisive than before, it also added a new chapter in global leadership. The resolution assured that the dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’ will come true before 2047. “India is currently the fastest growing major economy in the world. India has moved from Fragile 5 to Top 5 within 10 years. India is now on track to become a $5 trillion economy and the third largest economy by 2027. The dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’ will definitely come true before 2047 because this is the Modi Guarantee,” it said.
Pointing out that Modi had “set an ideal example of Sanatan culture”, it said: “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, not only has the temple of Lord Shri Ram been built, but he has also effectively implemented the concept of Ram Rajya in the last 10 years. Whenever there will be a discussion in the future, historians will consider this event as a milestone in years. the continuous rediscovery of India’s civilizational heritage.”
Citing the success of the G20 Summit last year, the resolution said India had also become the voice of the Global South. At home, the outcome of the recent state elections shows people’s deep faith in the “intent and commitment” of the BJP-led government, and “unbroken trust” in Modi’s leadership, it added. “Last year, there were nine state elections and the BJP succeeded in forming the government in six of them… These elections showed that the people in this country had faith only and only in Modi ki guarantee. These results were an outright rejection of the divisive and caste based politics of an arrogant coalition (INDIA bloc),” the resolution said.
“From Kutch to Kamrup, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the BJP won hearts of all,” it added.

The political resolution condemned the Opposition for boycotting the inauguration as well as the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya temple.
Praising Modi’s attempts to honour India’s cultural heritage, the resolution said: “Yoga, Ayurveda and conservation of Indian languages as well as Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Mahakal Corridor in Kashi, Kartarpur Corridor, reconstruction of Pavagadh Shaktipeeth and temples like Kedarnath, Badrinath and Somnath were the right examples of Modiji’s hard work for the revival of cultural centres. Today, under his leadership, the noises of India’s great cultural heritage are being heard all over the world. The Prime Minister has also inaugurated the grand temple in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). It’s is a symbol of changing India.”
The political resolution made special reference to Sandeshkhali in TMC-ruled West Bengal, saying the violence there had “shamed humanity”.
