The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections, fielding Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Singh Patel from Dimani and Narsingpur constituency respectively.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste will be contesting from Niwas constituency. In its list of 39 candidates, the party also fielded its national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya from Indore-1 seat.
The party has fielded MPs Ganesh Singh from Satna, Riti Pathak from Sidhi constituency and Uday Pratap Singh from Gadarwara seat. The second BJP list comprises six women candidates, 10 candidates from Scheduled Tribes and 4 from the Scheduled Castes category.
The saffron party had released the first list of candidates back in August. In Madhya Pradesh, ground reports and surveys have indicated tough fights between the ruling BJP and the Congress.
