Pratibha Patil gets keys to new bungalow

Sources said former President can now move in “any day”. Patil was staying at 2,Tughlaq Lane,New Delhi,since July 25,2012,on a temporary basis while the Bungalow was being “renovated”.

“The house will be in her possession as long as she or her spouse is alive. Later,it will be returned to the Maharashtra government,” said a CPWD official.

The Urban Development Ministry has apparently spent “over Rs 2 crore” on the work that included addition of several new rooms,refurbishing old ones,landscaping,etc.
