Suspected explosive found on Kingfisher flight

A suspected explosive found on a passenger plane sparked a bomb scare and grounded the aircraft in southern India,police said on Sunday.

A bomb disposal squad was inspecting the package found in a bag inside the cargo hold of the aircraft after all passengers had disembarked,said Ajith Kumar,the city’s police commissioner.

The plane has been moved to an isolated area in Thiruvananthapuram airport in the state of Kerala.
