Rahul Gandhi today chose to take a Metro and a taxi ride to reach Rohini in north Delhi to address a Youth Congress rally. The Congress leader,who is one of the most highly protected persons in the country,boarded a Metro train at Race Course Road station near his official 12,Tughlak Road residence to reach Rohini West Metro Station where he waved down a radio cab to get to Japanese Park,the venue of the rally. "I was near Rohini West Metro station when Rahulji hailed my cab," Shravan,a taxi driver with a prominent radio cab agency,said. Rahul paid the taxi driver Rs 200 for a nearly three- kilometer ride to Japanese park. This was the easiest way to reach the venue, one of Rahul's associates said.
