Petition against Advani for disturbing traffic during yatra

Petitioners alleges there was misuse of public money for making the yatra successful in Bihar.

A petition seeking action against BJP leader L K Advani for disturbing traffic and misusing public money during his yatra here was today filed in the CJM court.

A former village head Dev Kumar and others filed the petition against Advani and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi.

They claimed due to Advani’s ‘Jan Chetna Yatra’,traffic in and around the city was “badly disturbed”,causing public inconvenience.

The petitioners also alleged that there was “gross misuse of public money” for making the yatra successful in Bihar,and appealed to the court to order Patna police to register a case against the two leaders.

The court has fixed October 15 as the next date for hearing the case.
