Monsoon holds forte,keeps weather pleasant in North India

Monsoon showers lashed various parts of North India keeping temperatures below or close to normal.

North India witnessed pleasant weather today as monsoon showers lashed various parts of the region keeping temperatures below or close to normal.

Delhi residents woke up to a pleasant day with partly cloudy sky. The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degree Celsius,one degree above normal,while the maximum was recorded at 37 deg C,one degree above normal.

The humidity oscillated between 48 and 82 per cent.

“Partly cloudy sky. Thundery development,light rain may occur tomorrow,” Met official predicted.

In Uttar Pradesh,light to moderate rains occurred at many places over the Eastern region.

Sandila,Amethi,Lucknow,Gorakhpur,Unnao,Fatehpur and Bansi got 3 cm rains.

The Met office has issued warning of heavy rains at isolated places over East UP during next 48 hours

Parts of Rajasthan were also lashed by rains.

Temperature in Ganganagar plummet to 14.4 deg C as Jaipur,Kota,Udaipur and Bikaner divisions received intermittent showers.
