Kalyan Singh rules out alliance with BJP for UP polls

Singh claimed BJP had lost confidence of the people in the state.

Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and leader of Jan Kranti Party Kalyan Singh has said his party would contest the upcoming state Assembly elections on its own and ruled out an alliance or merger with the BJP.

Talking to reporters at Deoband,Singh claimed BJP had lost confidence of the people in the state.

He said his party has already released the first list of candidates while the next list would be released in October.

Elections for the Uttar Pradesh legislature are scheduled to be held early next year.
