Inquiry ordered into alleged stripping of girls in exam hall

2 women teachers allegedly had 2 girls stripped on the suspicion of hiding copy material.

Madhya Pradesh government has ordered an inquiry into the incident in which two women teachers allegedly had two girls stripped on the suspicion of hiding copy material during High School Board examination in Chichli Block of the district.

Chichli Block Education Officer,B P Kaurav,would conduct the inquiry and if anyone is found guilty,strict action would be taken,said Narsinghpur Sub-Divisional

Magistrate,P N Yadav.

In the complaint to the Block Education Officer,family members of the girls said that during the mathematics paper at the Government Higher Secondary School,Barahbada,on March 15,the two teachers — Preeti Sharma and Reshma Simaiya – frisked the two girls after having them stripped in the exam hall where boys too were present.

The teachers suspected that girls were carrying some copy material on them,however nothing was found.

The girls did not report the incident that day,but when the classmates made fun of them later during Social Science paper on March 20,they got upset and told the parents about the incident.
