Security management and socio-economic development of Jammu and Kashmir are some of the issues that figured prominently today at a meeting between Home Minister P Chidambaram and Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at Raj Bhavan here.
During their hour-long luncheon meeting,the leaders also discussed measures taken for empowerment of Panchayati Raj institutions and the upcoming elections to urban local bodies in the state,officials said.
Earlier,on arrival from New Delhi in the morning,the Union Home Minister visited cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi and paid obeisance at the Sanctum Sanctorum.
