Senior BJP leader and local MP Lalji Tandon on Saturday accused the BSP government of flouting the Constitution and working against the wishes of its ideologue Bhim Rao Ambedkar. "Ambedkar would have been most unhappy seeing the manner in which the BSP government is flouting the Constitution, gagging the voice of opposition and distorting Parliamentary system to suit itself," Tandon told newspersons here. Referring to the police lathi charge on BJP workers in Lucknow yesterday while they were protesting against the developments in the PAC meeting and the stand taken by its member in the PAC,Tandon said that these steps would have pained Ambedkar. The BJP leader also alleged that leaders of BSP,SP,RJD and JMM who are facing CBI inquiries have bailed out the UPA government time and again when it was faced with serious problems. On the information sought by the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on the National Rural Health Mission fund in Uttar Pradesh under the RTI,he said that it was a big joke as the Congress has all the resources at its disposal to find out the reality. He also challenged the Prime Minister to order an inquiry into misuse of central funds in UP and punish the guilty.
