BJP demands thorough inquiry into attack on Prashant Bhushan

Condemning the attack on Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan,the BJP today said only a thorough inquiry would reveal the truth behind the incident.

“BJP condemns any kind of violence against anybody. But the Congress’ dirty tricks department is capable of doing anything. Only a thorough inquiry will reveal the truth behind the incident,” party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said.

Two men attacked Bhushan in his chamber here reportedly over his comments on Kashmir. The eminent lawyer had recently said that there should be a referendum on Kashmir.

BJP said the police should inquire into the matter to find out who all were behind the assault.
