The Parliamentarians Group on the Millennium Development Goals (PG-MDGs),in collaboration with the Centre for Legislative Research and Advocacy (CLRA),announced the release of the Parliamentarians Welcome Kit. This Welcome Kit,containing a set of comprehensive documents on a broad range of key development issues facing India,will prove an indispensable resource for all Parliamentarians. Post the launch,it is to be issued to every member of the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. Supriya Sule MP,Chairperson of the PG-MDGs,stressed the importance of legislative action on Indias top development priorities. With 2015 being the target for the achievement of the MDGs,the recently elected Parliamentarians have been entrusted with the responsibility of achieving these critical goals and improving peoples lives.
