Founded by Kanchan Kapoor,W Factor club,is an all women,wine appreciation and entertainment club. Kanchan tells more about the club on the sidelines of Style Speak session at the DLF Emporio in Delhi. Tells us about the W Factor club. W Factor is the women oriented club. It is a platform,a doorway for women to come and showcase their talent. What kinds of talent do women showcase at the W Factor club? Many kinds of talent like golfing,designing,or something to do with driving. It is for the women to come and tell the other women about what they posses. The idea is basically to get women together for the purpose of learning out of each other. It is something which started as a wine appreciation club where women unwind and have a relaxed afternoon,which is now getting more interactive. What was your idea behind an all women club? I think women are more stronger and it is easier to make a change. My vision behind the club was that,one woman can be an inspiration to the other. I feel,a woman who has a talent can always be an aspiration to other women. What makes this club different from the others? It is six months since I started the club and the difference is that W Factor is basically a wine club,where I let the women know little bit about wine drinking and the culture of wine drinking. W Factor is not one boring kind of a club and we are a little bit into charity as well. So,how do you carry charity and style together? Of course they do fit in together. In today's world style is very important. With the international charity you see very stylish women taking part in it (the charity process). Do you plan to spread the canvass to women from the lower middle class section as well? I don't scan any woman,and I feel everybody is stylish and welcome to join us. How does style inspire you? Basically,I am a foodie and run a restaurant in Delhi and I give cooking classes to girls where again,I feel,when you teach them in style you generate their interest in learning more keenly. Style is my basic inspiration and it is very inborn into me. How do you think this club can make a difference to the lives of women associated to it? It is a big high to the women that they are a part of the club where they go and they enjoy even if it is a vintage car driving. Style is the main drive behind our club.
