Telecom firms complain to ADGP

Telecom operators in Punjab have approached police over alleged disruption of services by some antisocial elements in 19 districts of the state,following which authorities registered a case in this connection.

Indus Towers Limited,Tower Vision,Viom Networks,BSNL and telecom service providers Idea Cellular,Vodafone,Bharti Airtel,Tata Tele Services have jointly given a representation to the Additional Director General of Police-Law and Order (ADGP),Punjab in this connection,a spokesman said here. They complained against alleged illegal acts of damaging and interfering in telecom network. PTI
