Teenaged girl kidnapped in Delhi

Yadav told police that he kept the girl confined in his flat in Dwarka Sector 16 and slit her throat when she resisted an attempt to rape her,a senior police official said adding they were awaiting post mortem report to ascertain that she was raped or not.

The victim was preparing for pre-medical test and was returning home from a coaching institute in Janakpuri when Yadav allegedly offered her a lift to home but took her to his flat in Dwarka. The victim is to claimed to be know Yadav.

Yesterday,the girl had called her parents from a mobile phone asking them to save her. “But the phone got disconnected before she could give details and a complaint was lodged with the police,” the official said.

Soon after,investigators collected call details of the phone from which the call was made and detained some suspects.

“We zeroed in on Yadav and during his questioning,he confessed to the crime,” the official said.

Yadav deals in building material and had taken the flat on rent in January. The girl’s bag has been recovered from his house in Hastsal. The victim’s father is a soldier in Army and posted in
