Residential building collapses in Mumbai

A four-storey residential building collapsed in south Mumbai today with several people feared trapped under the debris,fire brigade officials said.

According to officials,the building,Khatav Mansion in Lamington area collapsed and added that fire brigade vehicles and ambulances have been rushed to the spot.

“At around 1900 hours,I heard a huge sound,like an explosion,and saw the building collapsing. Within minutes the air in the area was filled with dust particles,” said advocate Jayesh Vithalani,an eyewitness.
