Pub Attack: Police seek custody of Sri Ram Sene chief

Mangalore police sought the custody of Sri Ram Sene President Pramod Muthalik,who has defended the outfit's attack on a Mangalore pub.

Mangalore police sought the custody of Sri Ram Sene President Pramod Muthalik,who has defended the outfit’s January 24 attack in a pub in Mangalore,a top police official said.

The department has requested the Davangere court to hand over Mutalik for interrogation,said IGP (Western Range) A M Prasad in Mangalore on Wednesday.

“After the court order,we will bring him (Muthalik) here for interrogation and investigation,” he said. Muthalik was arrested at Belgaum on Tuesday in connection with the attack.
