It is the first time that the final results have been declared within four days of the closing date for the interviews.

According to the press note published on the website, a total of 1,236 candidates have been recommended for appointment. This year’s toppers are Ira Singhal, Renu Raj and Nidhi Gupta. Four out of the five toppers are women.
Ira Singhal, a physically handicapped IRS officer from Delhi, topped the Civil services examination in which the top four positions went to women.
