Octopus to question IM operatives behind Hyd blasts

According to Maharashtra ATS,Riyaz Bhaktal had sent the bomb from Pune to Hyderabad in a road transport bus. Bhaktal paid some money to the driver of the Pune-Hyderabad bus telling him that his brother would collect it at Hyderabad.

Aniquee and and Akbar collected the parcel from the bus and took it to the room they rented out in Habsiguda. It was these two who stayed in the city for over month to finalise things. After taking a flat on rent at Habsiguda,the duo posed as students and even joined a computer course at an institute in Ameerpet.

They also told Maharashtra Police that they went to reccee Secunderabad Railway Station,Gokul Chat,Lumbini Park and Necklace Road. Police believe that it was Riyaz Bhaktal alias Roshan Khan who planted a bomb at Gokul Chat while Aniquee planted the bomb at Lumbini Park. A third bomb planted by Akbar Ismail at Dilsukhnagar did not explode. Police believe that the bomb that was planted at Lumbini Park was meant to have been placed on a tourist boat plying on Hussainsagar lake.

The blast at Gokul Chat House killed 32 people while 10 persons died at the Lumbini Park The case remained unsolved for more than a year until the Mumbai ATS nabbed a group of seven Indian Mujahideen operatives after the Delhi blasts. Riyaz Bhaktal and his brother Iqbal Bhaktal are still absconding. Mansoor Peerbhoy who was arrested from Pune for drafting and sending the emails a few minutes before the blasts will also be brought to Hyderabad later.
