A Class IX student was allegedly abducted and raped by four persons in a moving car under Khatauli police station in Muzaffarnagar district Wednesday evening. The girl was returning home from her school along with her younger sister when one Nadeem of Khardauni village stopped them. The sisters were forced into a car in which three more persons were present. Later, they dropped the younger sister on the way. The four men then took turns on the elder till she fell unconscious. She was then dumped in a field in Mahal village under Inchauli police station in Meerut district. [related-post] The women working in the field heard her cries and rushed to the spot. They informed the police and the girl was admitted to the district hospital in Meerut. The girl’s parents were then informed. The police have not ruled out a love angle because the main accused, Nadeem, was known to the girl. “She might have gone with him on her own without knowing that three other persons were also there in the car. All the four have been arrested while the medical examination of the girl has confirmed rape,” said Yogendra Malik, incharge of Inchauli police station.
