In view of strict security measures on Republic Day,services of Delhi Metro on three of its lines will be partially curtailed on Tuesday.
Metro services on Central Secretariat-Jahangirpuri will also be partially curtailed on January 29 on the occasion of Beating Retreat Ceremony.
On January 26 (Tuesday),there will be no Metro service available at Central Secretariat and Patel Chowk Metro stations of Line 2 (Central Secretariat-Jahangirpuri) and Mandi House and Pragati Maidan Metro stations of Line 3 till 12:30 PM,a DMRC spokesman said on Sunday.
As per advice of the Delhi Police,all Metro parking lots will remain closed from 07.00 PM tomorrow to 1.00 PM on January 26.
Metro services on Line-2 will be available only from Rajiv Chowk to Jahangirpuri from 6 AM to 12.30 PM and on Line-3 (Dwarka Sec-9 to Noida City Centre) there will be two short loop services.
Train services from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday will be running in two sections – from Dwarka Sector-9 to Barakhamba Road and back and from Noida City Centre to Indraprastha Metro station and back,the official said.
On Line-4,between Anand Vihar to Yamuna Bank and back,passengers can avail connecting services towards Dwarka after 12:30 PM only. Thereafter,normal Metro train operations will be resumed on Line-2,Line-3 and Line-4.
Services on Line-1 (Dilshad Garden to Rithala) would be normal with a six-minute headway.
