Meira Kumar to lead delegation to Inter-Parliamentary Union

The Assembly’s agenda consists of discussions on preventing electoral violence and ensuring the smooth transition of power,management of natural resources,agricultural production and demographic change and transparency and accountability in political party funding.

Kumar will be among the lead speakers in the discussions. The national parliaments of 143 countries are members of the IPU.
