J-K govt initiates disciplinary action against 6 doctors

six doctors and 1 junior assistant were found absent from duty during a surprise check by Adl. Commissioner

Jammu and Kashmir government has initiated disciplinary action against six doctors and one paramedic after they were found unauthorizedly absent from their duty in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The six doctors and one junior assistant of Keller Sub-District Hospital were found unauthorizedly absent from duty during a surprise check by Kashmir Additional Commissioner,an official spokesman said.

The Additional Commissioner has recommended deduction of

one-day pay from the salary of the erring officials,he said.
