Delhi college takes tough action against ragging,2 expelled

The expelled students,Akshay Chaudhary and Hani Mohammad,belong to Bulandshahar of Uttar Pradesh. While Hani was a final year student of Physical Science,Chaudhary was a student of Computer Science.

A third student,who had directed the victim to the room where he was allegedly confronted by the seniors,also stands rusticated,the member said,but added that the student was yet to be identified.

Ashutosh alleged that the two ragged him in a hostel of the college for about 30 minutes last evening.

“It was a serious case and tough action was required to set an example,” College Principal Bhim Sen Singh said. He said the decision was taken with a heavy heart as it would spoil their careers but it would set an example that no one would get away with such things.
