The body of National Conference block president Nazir Ahmed Sheikh was recovered from an avalanche site by the police and army after a day-long search operation in Afti-Wadwan area of Kishtwar district this morning,police said. Sheikh was returning home in Afti-Wadwan area when he came under an avalanche in the district on Monday evening. A team was rushed to the spot to launch a rescue operation,they said,adding after a long search his body was recovered.
