Bhatt enthralls all at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade

A recent evening saw a vibrant performance by Grammy award winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt at the cultural evening organized and hosted by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade,Delhi.

The venue for the event was IIFT Bhawan at Qutub Institutional Area,Delhi. For the first time,IIFT in association with Spic Macay chapter presented the Mohan Veena recital by Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt accompanied by Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra on Tabla.

The Event witnessed a large turnout of the Student fraternity of Delhi who were a captivating audience. The evening saw a large gathering of classical music enthusiasts and also curious novices. For the many exchange students at IIFT from international business schools like Bocconi,Italy and EDHEC,France this was a welcome exposure to India’s rich cultural legacy.

“This was the largest cultural event our institute has ever organized in Delhi. This cultural evening brought more than 350 students and guests to the vibrant IIFT campus. We also showcased the fact that Delhi has a rich multi-cultural heritage to be proud of” said Dr. Asim Raj Singla,Programme Director,Indian Institute of Foreign Trade,Delhi.

The event started off with an introduction about how IIFT and SpicMacay wish to forge stronger bonds to promote Indian culture amongst MBA students and the future plan of action for the same.
