Armed men shoot dead accountant in NW Delhi

The deceased has been identified as Badre Alam (40) while the injured has been identified as Ravinder (50).

The attackers intercepted their scooter and asked Alam,who was riding pillion to give them the cash bag.

Alam resisted and then one of them fired indiscriminately with a semi-automatic weapon and fled from the spot.

However,the robbers failed to take away the bag that was containing cash. The victims were accountants at Laxmi Fruit Shop in fruit Mandi in Azadpur Mandi.

Alam sustained four gunshot injuries and died due to excessive bleeding,while Ravinder sustained two bullets.
