AFTER the Rajya Sabha MP from Sangrur Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa,it was the turn today of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal himself to cry foul over the proposed visit of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to Punjab. Badal, who was in Malerkotla on Tuesday, said,“I gave 25 acres land for this project and I have not even got an invitation for the foundation stone laying ceremony.”

Sangrur MP Vijayinder Singla however was surprised over the CM’s comment. He said,“it is a function by PGI and they have already sent invitations to all. The CM must check with PGI regarding this.” Congress leaders however, reminded CM that their MLAs had repeatedly not been invited by CM and deputy CM during their foundation ceremonies in various districts.
