100 govt employees found absent from duty in J-K

Disciplinary action has been initiated against them,an official spokesman said here today.

Nearly 100 employees,including seven doctors,were found absent from duty during a surprise inspection of government offices in Jammu and Kashmir in the past two days.

Disciplinary action has been initiated against them,an official spokesman said here today.

A team,headed by Additional Commissioner (Kashmir) Abdul Majid Wani,carried out the inspection in various offices in Pulwama,Kulgam,Shopian and Anantnag districts.

As many as 69 employees,including seven doctors,were found absent today and 28 yesterday,the spokesman said.
