Three persons were killed and 12 others injured when a jeep carrying them rolled down into a gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district on Tuesday afternoon,police said. The vehicle was on its way to Srinagar when it skidded off the road and rolled down into the gorge at Chamalvas area in Banihal tehsil of the district. The deceased have been identified as Shahjahan,Farid and Mohmmad Yasir,they said. Police said 12 persons suffered injuries in the incident. Four of them were shifted to Srinagar hospital in a critical condition.
