In a major relief to industrial plot holders in Jalandhar,Industries and Commerce Minister Anil Joshi on Monday slashed the recovery of enhanced land cost from Rs 323 per square yard to Rs 98 per square yard. In a meeting held with industrial associations from Focal Point,led by Chief Parliamentary Secretary K D Bhandari,it was brought to the notice of minister that in 2005,PSIEC had issued notices to 262 allottees of industrial plots for recovery of enhanced land cost at the rate of Rs 323 per square yard. They added that these recovery notices were based on the enhancement of land compensation by the Jalandhar ADJ.
