Activists of the BJP youth wing resorted to a novel protest here,cutting the hair of a teacher in a city school after over 60 students were made to chop off their hair in a disciplinary measure by its management. A group of BJP yuva morcha workers led by Ganesh Ghosh staged a protest demonstration in the school premises last evening,condemning the management's act in which the students sporting long hair were handed over to barbers who were asked to give them a "soldier cut" in keeping with the disciplinary norms. Ghosh said the protest was organised by the party workers after they received a complaint from some parents who had objected to the forcible measure,upsetting 65 students. "We gave a school teacher the taste of his own medicine after he was found keeping a hair style like Shahrukh Khan," he added. The school principal was not available for comment.
