Calling RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, UP cabinet minister Azam Khan and noted historian Irfan Habib as ‘separatists’, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Awadh prant sanghchalak Prabhu Narain on Thursday alleged that these ‘separatist’ elements were shedding crocodile tears in the name of ‘intolerance’.
Talking to mediapersons here, Narain said flourishing of these ‘separatists’ leaders and so-called historians in India was the biggest example of ‘extreme tolerance and individual freedom’ in the country.
He also cited the examples of Congress-ruled Kerala and Communist-influenced West Bengal, where peace was maintained despite provoking acts of beef consumption in public, which reflected tolerance.

Further, the RSS leader said Azam was a separatist because he had called Bharat Mata a ‘Daayan (witch)’, while Digvijaya was also in the same league for grieving over killing of terrorists in Batla House encounter and holding RSS responsible for the killing of ATS officer Hemant Karkare during 2008 Mumbai terror attack.
Clarifying on what he meant by ‘separatists’, Narain said, “Separatists are those people who make objectionable photographs of goddess Durga, publicly display cow meat and those who could not sleep when terrorists are killed.”
Attacking historian Irfan Habib, he said ‘leftists terrorists’ like him were more dangerous than Islamic State leader Abu Bakr-al-Baghdadi, who was recently compared by Habib to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Narain added that ISIS kills innocent people but ‘leftists terrorists’ were hatching conspiracy to kill the cultural spirit of Bharat Mata for more than 50 years under the shelter of Congress.
“That is biggest example of extreme tolerance that could not be found in any other country. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and followers of other religions are safe in the country until Hindus are in majority here,” Narain said, adding that the separatist elements who were shedding crocodile tears in the name of ‘intolerance’, should be boycotted publicly.

Asked about BJP MP Yogi Adityanath’s remark in which he compared Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan with Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed, Narain said Adityanath is a self-proclaimed leader who runs his own pro-Hindutva organisation and does not give importance even to BJP. He added that RSS does not agree with the statement of Shah Rukh Khan on ‘intolerance’. “It is also the responsibility of people like Shah Rukh Khan to create such circumstances in which sentiments of public are not hurt,” Narain said.
