PM Modi can’t tolerate Dalit beti being feted with garland of notes: Mayawati

BSP chief Mayawati flayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his “garland of notes’ remark, saying that he could not “tolerate” that a “Dalit ki beti” (a daughter of Dalit) was honoured with a “garland of currency notes”. “BSP ke neta kaali kamayi ke noton se nahi, apni mehnat, khoon ki kamayi se apne neta ka swagat karte hain (BSP workers do not welcome me with garland of black money notes. They do it with their hard earned money,” she said.
