NDA only delivered broken promises and dismal failures: Congress

Gowda criticised the Modi government over various issues, including job creation and controversies in education sector. He slammed the government for its ‘crackdown’ on a students’ group in IIT-Madras last year, the Ambedkar-Periyar Study Circle, saying the organisation was ‘disallowed’ from having a discussion “on the injustices” backward and other communities face in their daily life.

He also slammed the Centre on the Rohit Vemula suicide episode. Earlier, Gowda released a book on the Modi government, titled, “Two Years of Stalled Progress and Broken Promises”.
