BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday resigned from the Upper House of Parliament. Within minutes of Sidhu’s resignation, AAP’s Punjab convenor Sucha Singh Chhotepur and AAP state in-charge Sanjay Singh hailed his ‘courageous’ decision and said the party was ‘looking forward’ to welcome him.
Sidhu’s decision to quit Rajya Sabha and speculations of joining AAP took Twitter by storm and it became the top trend on micro-blogging website.
