Haryana districts re-allocated among ministers

This is being done to assign some districts to the new entrants.

The Haryana government on Wednesday re-allocated the districts among its ministers in their capacity as chairpersons of district public relations and grievances committees. It has been done to assign some districts to the new entrants in the ministry, said a release.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar would preside over the monthly meeting of the Gurgaon district committee. Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, Finance Minister Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister OP Dhankar, Health Minister Anil Vij and Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh would preside over the monthly meetings of Bhiwani, Ambala, Rohtak, Yamunanagar and Jhajjar district committees respectively, it added. Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain, Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel, Cooperation Minister Manish Kumar Grover and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi would preside over the meetings of Panchkula, Mewat, Mahendragarh, Faridabad and Jind committees respectively, the release said.

Similarly, Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj, Public Health Engineering Minister Banwari Lal and Labour and Employment Minister Nayab Singh would preside over the meetings of the Kurukshetra, Hisar and Sonepat committees respectively, it added.

Among the chief parliamentary secretaries, Shyam Singh would preside over the meetings of the Rewari committee, Kamal Gupta would preside over the meetings of Karnal and Sirsa committees, Seema Trikha would preside over the meetings of Palwal and Fatehabad committees and Bakhshish Singh Virk would preside over the meetings of Kaithal and Panipat committees, the release said.
