Haris Rawat conspired to implicate me: BJP MLA who ‘attacked’ horse

Ganesh Joshi, who is out on bail, alleged that former Chief Minister Harish Rawat hatched the conspiracy to implicate him in the horse attack case.

BJP MLA Ganesh Joshi, who was arrested for allegedly attacking a police horse during a protest against the government here on March 14, on Monday said that he had snatched a cane from a policeman because the police were indulging in lathicharge on party workers. If his workers are fired upon, he would snatch a gun too, he added.

Joshi, who is out on bail, also alleged that former Chief Minister Harish Rawat hatched the conspiracy to implicate him in the horse attack case. “Harish Rawat, agar tere me himmat hai to mere kisi karyakarta par hath laga kar dikha, ungli utha kar dikha. Woh haath tod diya jaega, who ungli mod di jayegi (Harish Rawat if you have the courage then raise your hand or lift a finger on my party worker. We will break that hand and twist the finger),” he said. “I did not hit any horse,” he added.
