15-year-old girl gangraped in Ludhiana

The mother of victim lodged police complaint in which she stated that she heard the screams of her daughter from a room adjoining their residential quarters. She was shocked to see that the accused, Ravi, was forcibly raping the victim and Manish was standing near the door.
When she raised an alarm the accused escaped from the spot, alleged complainant.

Following the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused under section 376-D (Gangrape) of IPC and Section 4 of Protection Of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POCSO).

Investigation officer in the case Assistant Sub inspector (ASI) Vedraj of Police station Dehlon said that the victim was playing outside her room when the accused lured and took the victim in a vacant room in the residential quarters. First the accused Manish raped the girl and after that Ravi was raping when the mother of victim raised an alarm.

The case was registered after medical examination of the victim which was conducted at civil hospital.
