India-China direct flights: After Kolkata, IndiGo’s Delhi-Guangzhou flight service to begin from Nov 10 – check timing, ticket price, frequency

In August, during a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, both leaders noted the need to strengthen people-to-people ties through direct flights and visa facilitation. The Kolkata-Guangzhou direct flight service started on October 26, 2025.

The Delhi–Guangzhou direct flight is expected to further boost opportunities in trade, investment, tourism and education between the two countries. It also presents immense potential for cultural exchange and economic collaboration.

Delhi-Guangzhou direct flight time

The flight number 6E 1701 Delhi-Guangzhou flight will depart from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport at 21:45 hrs. It will arrived at Guangzhou (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) at 04:50 hrs (local time). It will take 04:35 hrs to cover the distance between two cities.

Both the flight numbers i.e. 6E 1701 Delhi-Guangzhou and 6E 1702 Guangzhou-Delhi will operate on all days of the week. From Delhi, the flight will depart from IGI Airport’s T3 terminal.

As per IndiGo’s website, as of around 4:23 PM on November 1, 2025, the ticket price for the Delhi-Guangzhou direct flight is Rs 19,606 for Economy class. However, fares may vary based on the time of booking.
