MDI Gurgaon signs MoU with Power Grid Corporation

Management Development Institute (MDI),in its efforts to establish academia and industry collaborations has signed a major MoU with Power Grid Corporation India Limited (POWERGRID).

POWERGRID is the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country and wheels about 45% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.

This agreement has been done to engage in constructive association in not only management development programmes (MDPs) but also in the areas of academic programmes,consulting and research.

The MOU was signed by Dr. BS Sahay,Director,Management Development Institute (MDI) and VM Kaul,Director (Personnel),Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID).

The B-school has been at the forefront of making relationships with the industry and considers this partnership as a significant move for the institute.

The MOU has been signed for an initial period of 5 years to be reviewed for further extension. This would be a mutually beneficial arrangement as POWERGRID is a Navratna state-owned company and one of the largest transmission utilities in the world and MDI is ranked among the top five B-Schools in India.
