Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday directed law and order agencies to use minimal force and ensure that no casualty or grievous injury is caused while dealing with the law and order problem in the state.
“You should ensure that no casualty or grievous injury takes place while dealing with law and order problem,” he said here.
Abdullah was taking stock of the law and order situation and the progress of developmental works initiated in Budgam,Baramulla and Pulwama districts via video-conferencing with district officials concerned.
Security forces should exhibit the highest degree of restraint and use minimal force while dealing with law and order situation in the state,he said.
