Sex racket busted,18 youths arrested in Jind: police

Police on Friday claimed to have smashed a sex racket with the arrest of nine girls and an equal number of boys from a hotel.

“Acting on a tip-off,police conducted a raid inside the Rackson Hotel here,where these youths were found in objectionable positions,” DSP Om Singh Balhara said,adding a total of 19 people,including the youths and hotel manager Nitin,have been apprehended.

During interrogation,it has come to light that the hotel owner rented out the rooms for illegal activities,he said.

Balhara said most of the arrested youths were college students and their guardians have been intimated on the development.

Further investigation into the matter was on,police said.
