Rly engineer held for trying to molest Australian tourist

A railway engineer was arrested on Wednesday on charges of attempting to molest an Australian tourist in a train near here,police said.

The 41-year old woman,who was travelling in AC II tier of Patna-New Jalpaiguri Capital Express,lodged a complaint with Government Railway Police at Barsoi station,that engineer Arup Kumar Roy had tried to molest her in the train,DGP Neelmani said in Patna.

The New Jalpaiguri based construction engineer was arrested under section 354 IPC (assault or criminal force on a woman with the intend to outrage her modesty),he said.
