Nine IOC officials sent to 15 days of judicial custody

Nine Indian Oil Corporation officials,including General Manager for Rajasthan,were sent to 15 days of judicial custody by a local court.

The officials were today produced before Judicial Magistrate (Sanganer) who sent them to 15 days of judicial custody. The accused will be produced before the court again on July 17,Circle Officer Lalit Sharma said.

The police had arrested Gautam Bose (General Manager),Rajesh Sayal (Chief of Operation),Shashank Shekhar (Manager-Operation),K S Kanojia (Senior Terminal Manager),Arun Poddar (Manager-Terminal),Kapil Goyal (Deputy Manager- Terminal),Ashok Gupta (Operation Officer),Kailash Nath Agarwal (Chargeman) and S S Gupta (DGM Pipeline) in the fire case which claimed eleven lives on October 29 last year at Sitapura plant,around 20 kms from here.
