A minor girl was allegedly raped by a teenager in Kopaganj area here.

A minor girl was allegedly raped by a teenager in Kopaganj area here,police said on Tuesday.

The mother of the victim lodged an FIR at the Kopaganj police station on Monday alleging that her five-year-old daughter was raped by a teenager on Saturday,they said.

Police said the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.

Pankaj Dheer, best known for his role as Karna in Mahabharat, passed away at the age of 68 after battling cancer. The news was confirmed by CINTAA, where he served as former Hon. General Secretary. The actor's funeral will be held in Mumbai and he was the father of actor Nikitin Dheer, who is married to Kratika Sengar.
